Tough on crime and low on sweeteners, The Northern Territory budget has been handed down, with few surprises. As the Government continues it's no frills, debt conscious approach. The Northern Territory recorded an improved debt position. With net debt to hit 11-point-three-billion-dollars by the end of 2025-26, 841 million less than the forecast in last year's budget. Next financial year, the debt will climb to 12-point-five-billion-dollars. 552 million less than previously projected, before reaching a peak in 2028-29. The government says the budget is focused on Territorians' needs, with record spends on health, corrections and police. Treasury says the improved debt position is from higher GST payments from the Commonwealth, as well as higher tax and royalty revenue, although the gains have been tempered by damage caused by severe weather and the global fuel crisis.

A newly released Pentagon UFO video is triggering massive debate online after showing a mysterious glowing object shaped like an eight pointed star moving through the sky. The infrared footage, recorded by US Central Command in 2013, was published as part of a major UFO file release ordered by Donald Trump.

Social media exploded with theories claiming the object resembles an “Ophanim” — a biblical angel described as glowing heavenly wheels. Others believe the footage could reveal advanced secret technology or even evidence of extraterrestrial life.

The Pentagon says the video should not be treated as proof of aliens or supernatural activity, but officials still cannot explain exactly what the strange object is. With more classified UFO files expected to be released soon, the mystery surrounding unidentified aerial phenomena is only growing bigger.

#PentagonUFO #UFOVideo #MysteryUFO #BiblicalAngel #Ophanim #PentagonRelease #TrumpUFOFiles #AlienDebate #UAP #UFOFootage #BreakingNews #PentagonNews #SecretTechnology #AlienLife #UFODisclosure #InfraredVideo #PentagonLeaks #USMilitary #OphanimTheory #UFOFiles

~HT.318~ED.103~PR.460~GR.508~

Come Around was written by Martin Plaza and appeared on the 1980 album Espresso Bongo by Mental As Anything.

Music video directed by Peter Cox.

Mental As Anything were a legendary band from Sydney, Australia. The members met at art school, and each was a visual artist as well as a musician. Guitarist Reg Mombassa also became widely known in Australia for his iconic artwork for the surfwear brand Mambo. Even if the band is unfamiliar to you, their reach was remarkable: Elton John bought their artwork in the 1980s, and Elvis Costello produced one of their singles.

The band’s creative and commercial peak stretched across the entire 1980s, when they were a dominant presence on the Australian charts. If you’re from the Northern Hemisphere, you may know their song “Live It Up”, which featured in the film Crocodile Dundee.

The Mentals were a little New Wave, mostly Pop Rock, and always full of flair, humour, and charm. They had a rare gift for writing catchy songs, delivering them both live and on record with fine musicianship and a style that was entirely their own.

In 2026, a brilliant documentary about the band was released called Live It Up: The Mental As Anything Story. It is well worth your time and makes a terrific entry point into the colourful world of Mental As Anything.

The Mentals were:

Martin Plaza — lead vocals, guitar
Wayne DeLisle — drums
Reg Mombassa — guitar, vocals
Greedy Smith — lead vocals, keyboards, harmonica
Peter O’Doherty — bass guitar, vocals

MEASURING in at just 100cm tall - and 99cm wide - the Peel P50 is reported the world’s smallest car to ever go into production. The three-wheeled microcar was originally made from 1962 to 1965 by the Peel Engineering Company and was listed in the 2010 Guinness World Records as the smallest production car ever made, with a weight of just 59 kilograms. Of the 50 P50s ever produced, only 27 are still known to exist today. Canadian, Greg, is one of the owners of these rare cars, and he told FutureStudiosCars: “The P50 came out of the Isle of Man, basically the concept was a little car that you can use in the city”. With its DKW 49cc engine, the P50 has a top speed of 37mph and 4.2 horsepower. “It’s a one-seater with one headlight - I also love how it has three wheels, the back wheel is the one that is driving it with a chain from a little moped engine,” Greg said. With its uniquely small size, the P50 is not the most practical car to use. “There’s no reverse because you have to get out of the car and go around to the reversing handle, pick up the car and turn it around then get back in,” explained Greg. Although this is undoubtedly a small car, it has a big history. Greg said: “There was a Russian freighter that came into the port of Vancouver, they used it to drive around their huge freighter on the deck but then the refrigerator broke so when they came back, they traded this car in on a refrigerator”. Today, these cars are incredibly difficult to come by and are incredibly expensive - in 2016, a P50 was sold at auction for over $176,000.

The world's most profitable airline just crushed it again — even with a war breaking out in its backyard.
Emirates Group just dropped its 2025-26 numbers. And they're massive.
AED 24.4 billion profit. US$ 41 billion revenue. Cash reserves at an all-time high.
Let's put that in perspective: In the final month of its financial year, military activity shut down Gulf airspace. Flights were grounded. Chaos everywhere. Most companies would have crumbled.
Emirates? They barely blinked.
The airline alone made AED 22.8 billion in profit. That's US$ 6.2 billion. More than any other airline on the planet. For the fifth year running, Emirates sits alone at the top of the profitability mountain.
And dnata? The Group's ground handling and catering arm? Also had a record year. AED 1.6 billion profit. Revenue up 12%.
Here's what else happened in 2025-26:
Emirates launched four new cities: Da Nang, Hangzhou, Siem Reap, and Shenzhen.
They took delivery of 15 Airbus A350s — and rolled out Starlink high-speed Wi-Fi on 21 aircraft.
The US$ 5 billion retrofit program is in full swing. Premium Economy is spreading like wildfire.
Emirates SkyCargo carried 2.4 million tonnes of goods. Up 3%.
Oh, and they hired 10,000 people. Workforce now stands at 130,919. UAE nationals alone crossed 4,000.
The secret sauce?
Smart hedging. Fuel is locked in until 2028-29. Cash reserves are at AED 59.6 billion — that's US$ 16.2 billion sitting in the bank. When you have that kind of cushion, you don't panic. You invest.
And invest they did. AED 17.9 billion spent on new aircraft, facilities, and tech.
The bottom line:
Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum put it best: \
